Waterbury, CT · Country Club
Founded in 1899, the Country Club of Waterbury is one of Connecticut's most historically significant private clubs, with an 18-hole layout originally designed by Willie Park Jr. in 1927. The course has been shaped by two subsequent renovation eras under Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1953 and Geoffrey Cornish in the 1970s, producing a par-70 championship test with a slope rating of 131 that has hosted both the Connecticut Open and Connecticut Amateur Championships.
