Founded in 1893, the Country Club of New Canaan is one of the oldest private golf clubs in the United States, situated in the affluent Fairfield County town of New Canaan, Connecticut. The 18-hole course was designed by renowned Scottish architect Willie Park Jr., representing one of his earliest works on American soil, and retains much of its original character following a faithful 1997 restoration by Brian Silva.
