Ridgewood Country Club
Danbury, CT · Country Club
Ridgewood Country Club is a private 18-hole club founded in 1920 on the former Ridgewood Stock Farm in Danbury, Connecticut, featuring rolling New England terrain with bold elevation changes that define its character. The course carries a distinguished architectural pedigree, originally laid out by Devereux Emmet, later redesigned by Geoffrey Cornish in the early 1960s following the Interstate 84 realignment, and further refined by Roger Rulewich beginning in 2002. The club holds a notable place in golf history as the site of the 1968 and 1969 Danbury Lady Carling Open, the first LPGA events ever held in Connecticut.
