The Woodlands Country Club is a premier private golf facility founded in 1974 within The Woodlands master-planned community north of Houston, Texas. The club's Tournament Course, designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge, served as the longtime host venue for the Shell Houston Open from 1985 to 2003 and holds the distinction of being the first TPC course in Texas. With 72 holes across four championship layouts, including the Jay Morrish-designed Palmer Course, the facility remains one of the most expansive private golf operations in the state.
