About Greenville Country Club
Greenville Country Club is one of South Carolina's oldest and most distinguished private clubs, established in 1895 amid the rolling terrain of the Carolina foothills. The club's crown jewel, the Chanticleer Course, was designed by Donald Ross in 1923 and restored by Brian Silva in 2001, earning consistent recognition among the state's premier layouts with a slope rating of 144. A second 18-hole course by George Cobb rounds out the 36-hole property, which has hosted multiple USGA championships including the 1973 U.S. Women's Amateur.
