About Green Valley Country Club
Green Valley Country Club is a private 18-hole parkland course in Greenville, South Carolina, established in the late 1950s as part of the region's postwar golf expansion. The course was originally designed by George Cobb, the prominent Southeastern architect known for his work at Augusta National, and later refined through renovations by John LaFoy in 2003. Playing to a par 72 at 6,640 yards with a slope rating of 133, the layout features natural elevation changes characteristic of upstate South Carolina terrain and has hosted both the Carolinas Amateur and South Carolina Amateur championships.
