Bala Golf Club is one of Philadelphia's oldest private clubs, established in the late 19th century in the historic Bala Cynwyd area of the city. The 18-hole layout, redesigned by Alfred H. Tull in 1949 following an earlier William S. Flynn renovation, plays to a compact 5,306 yards and is recognized for its tight fairways, strategic bunkering, and demanding shot-making despite its modest par of 69.

The Union League Golf Club at Torresdale is a historic private club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, originally established as Torresdale-Frankford Country Club and acquired by The Union League of Philadelphia in 2014. The 18-hole championship course was designed by Donald Ross in 1921-1922 and features his characteristic crowned green complexes, with the original routing largely preserved through a Stephen Kay restoration completed in 2016.
