White Bear Yacht Club
White Bear Lake, MN · Yacht Club · Est. 1889
White Bear Yacht Club is a storied private club founded in 1889 on the shores of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, originally established as a sailing club before adding golf to its offerings. Donald Ross designed the 18-hole course in 1912, crafting one of his finest early Midwest layouts by leveraging more than 100 feet of natural elevation change and sweeping views of the lake. The course has hosted three Minnesota State Amateur Championships and underwent notable restorations in 1996 and 2012 to preserve Ross's original design intent.
