The Minikahda Club
Minneapolis, MN · Golf Club · Est. 1898
The Minikahda Club is one of the oldest and most historically significant private clubs in the Upper Midwest, founded in 1898 along the shores of what is now Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Donald Ross redesigned the course in 1917, and his work — featuring elevated greens and strategic bunkering — remains the foundation of the layout played today. The club has hosted four USGA championships, including the 1916 and 1927 U.S. Amateur and the 1957 Walker Cup, cementing its place among America's most consequential private golf venues.
