Gibson Island Club
Gibson Island, MD · Golf Club · Est. 1929
Gibson Island Club is a historic private golf club founded in the early 1920s on the secluded shores of Gibson Island in Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. The intimate 9-hole course was designed by Charles H. Banks, a protégé of Seth Raynor known for incorporating classic template holes, and was sensitively restored by Brian Silva in 1999. Perched within an exclusive island community, the club offers panoramic Chesapeake Bay views and a rare example of early twentieth-century golf architecture preserved in its original spirit.
