Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club is a private residential golf community founded in 1998 at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Gold Canyon, Arizona. The club features two Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II-designed championship courses — the Prospector and Lost Gold — totaling 36 holes of desert-style golf with strategic bunkering across rugged Sonoran terrain. From 2004 to 2008, the club hosted the LPGA Safeway International, where Lorena Ochoa set a tournament record of 18-under par in 2006.
