Nicol and later renovated in 2005 by the respected firm Hurdzan-Fry Environmental Golf Design, stretching to 7,465 yards with a challenging slope rating of 136. The club has hosted the Alabama State Amateur Championship and is known for its scenic lakeside setting, including a demanding par-5 14th hole that plays over water.
