Designed by Coore & Crenshaw in a "Golden Era" strategic style, the par-71 layout features five cross-cove lakefront par-3s and dramatic elevation changes through native hardwoods. The course debuted at No. 2 on Golf Digest's Best in State rankings for 2025–26, marking it as one of the most significant new private courses in the American South.
