About Houston Country Club
Houston Country Club is one of Texas's oldest private clubs, founded in 1908 as Houston's first country club and now settled in the city's prestigious Memorial area following a 1957 relocation. The 18-hole, par-72 championship course was refined by noted architect Rees Jones in 2006 and has hosted two USGA championships, including the 1964 Junior Amateur. The club's Georgian-style clubhouse remains a landmark of Houston's private club heritage.
