About Lakeside Country Club

Lakeside Country Club is a private 18-hole club established in 1951 along Buffalo Bayou on Houston's west side, featuring a classic tree-lined parkland course originally designed by prominent Texas architect Ralph Plummer. Following significant flooding from Hurricane Harvey in 2017, the course underwent a comprehensive restoration by architect Ron Prichard, emerging as a modernized yet traditionally rooted layout measuring 7,254 yards with a slope rating of 136. The club has hosted notable competitions including the 1969 Texas State Amateur Championship.
