The course was designed by Ellis Maples, a protege of Donald Ross, and stretches 6,817 yards with a slope rating of 134. The par-72 layout is known for its challenging 17th hole, a dogleg-left par-4 featuring an elevated tee, a creek crossing the fairway, and a well-guarded green.
