About Raintree Country Club
Raintree Country Club is a private 36-hole facility established in 1971 as part of south Charlotte's suburban expansion, offering both a North and South Course across the city's rolling piedmont terrain. The South Course, originally designed by Jones, Jones & Jones and fully renovated in 2006 by Dan Maples, plays to a demanding slope rating of 137 from the championship tees. The club has hosted notable regional competition, including the 1988 North Carolina Amateur Championship and the 1995 Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship.
