About Charlotte Country Club
Charlotte Country Club is one of the oldest and most distinguished private clubs in the Carolinas, founded in 1910 and anchored by a Donald Ross-designed course that remains a benchmark of classic golf architecture in the Southeast. Restored in 2008 by architect Ron Prichard to Ross's original specifications, the 18-hole layout features the trademark undulating greens and strategic bunkering that define the Ross canon. The club has hosted two USGA championships, including the 1972 U.S. Amateur and the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur, cementing its place in American golf history.
