Inwood Country Club
Inwood, NY · Country Club · Est. 1901
Inwood Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1901 in Inwood, New York, and ranks among the oldest golf clubs in the United States. The Herbert Strong-designed 18-hole course gained lasting fame as the site of the 1923 U.S. Open, where Bobby Jones claimed his first national championship title. A 2018 restoration by Tripp Davis and Associates preserved the course's classic character, which includes the celebrated par-3 third hole and the demanding par-4 eleventh, both considered among Long Island's finest tests of golf.
