About Glen Head Country Club
Glen Head Country Club is a classic private golf club established in 1921 on Long Island's North Shore in Glen Head, New York. Designed by Golden Age architect Devereux Emmet and later refined with bunker work by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1956, the 18-hole, par-72 course stretches 6,725 yards across the natural rolling terrain of Nassau County. The club has hosted notable regional competitions including the 1975 Met PGA Championship and preserves much of its original strategic design character through a careful 2000 restoration by Stephen Kay.
