Nassau Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1896 in Glen Cove, New York, and one of the founding members of the Metropolitan Golf Association. The 18-hole layout, originally designed by Devereux Emmet and later renovated by Seth Raynor in 1914, holds a unique place in golf history as the birthplace of the Nassau bet, one of the most widely played wagering formats in the game. The club has hosted the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship three times, most recently in 2014.
