Van Schaick Island Country Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in New York's Capital Region, founded in 1895 on the uniquely situated Van Schaick Island at the confluence of the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers in Cohoes, NY. The 18-hole, par-71 course was originally designed by prolific early golf architect Tom Bendelow, whose work helped shape American golf in the early 20th century.
