About The Country Club
The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts is one of the oldest and most historically significant golf clubs in the United States, founded in 1882 and among the five charter members that established the USGA in 1894. The Willie Campbell-designed 18-hole course, later refined by Rees Jones, has hosted four U.S. Opens (1913, 1934, 1963, 1988) and the 1999 Ryder Cup, cementing its place as one of America's most consequential golf venues. The club's 27-hole layout — including the distinctive 9-hole Primrose course — is complemented by an array of amenities spanning tennis, swimming, skeet shooting, and curling.
