About TPC Potomac At Avenel Farm
TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm is a distinguished private club within the TPC Network, set along the rolling terrain of Potomac, Maryland, and originally designed in 1986 by the celebrated pairing of Tom Fazio and Pete Dye. The course hosted the PGA Tour's Kemper Open and Booz Allen Classic for nearly two decades before undergoing a comprehensive renovation completed in 2009, which rebuilt all 18 greens and integrated an extensive creek system through multiple holes. Stretching to 7,139 yards with a slope rating of 144, the course remains one of the most challenging and historically significant private golf venues in the Mid-Atlantic region.
