About Ankeny Golf & Country Club
Ankeny Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole facility founded in the early 1960s as part of the suburban growth north of Des Moines, Iowa. Designed by Gordon Crickmore, the par-72 layout stretches to 6,716 yards and features bentgrass greens and fairways along a tree-lined traditional design characteristic of the era. The club has served as a host venue for Iowa Golf Association championships, including the Iowa Amateur and Iowa Senior Amateur.
