Chicago Golf Club in Wheaton, Illinois, holds the distinction of being the first 18-hole golf course in the United States and a founding member of the USGA in 1894. Designed by Charles B. Macdonald, the "Father of American Golf," and refined by Seth Raynor in 1923, the course is a landmark of early American golf architecture featuring the celebrated Redan hole and a championship résumé that includes three U.S. Opens and the 2005 Walker Cup.
