Midlothian Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1898 by Chicago businessmen in the southern suburbs of Midlothian, Illinois. Donald Ross completely redesigned the course in 1914, producing one of his most celebrated early Midwest layouts, featuring his signature push-up greens still largely intact today. The club hosted the 1914 Western Open and has remained a benchmark of classic Ross design in the Chicago area for over a century.
