Highfield Club is a private golf club in Middlebury, Connecticut, established in 1923 and set among scenic woodlands with notable elevation changes throughout its layout. The course carries significant architectural pedigree, originally designed by Jack V. O'Brien and later redesigned in 1936 by A.W. Tillinghast, whose work is celebrated across some of America's most distinguished golf courses. Highfield Club has also served as a venue for elite competition, having hosted the Connecticut State Amateur Championship in 1981.
