About Sequoyah Country Club
Sequoyah Country Club is one of Oakland's oldest private golf clubs, established in 1913 and set among tree-lined fairways with views of the San Francisco Bay. Originally designed by Scottish professional Willie Lock and later redesigned by Bob Baldock in the 1960s, the 18-hole, par-70 course is known for its sloped greens, narrow fairways, and notably hosted the 1927 San Francisco Open, won by Bobby Jones.
