Meadow Club
Fairfax, CA · Golf Club · Est. 1927
The Meadow Club is a historic private golf club founded in 1927 in Fairfax, California, notable as the first American golf course designed by legendary architect Alister MacKenzie. The par-72 layout skillfully integrates the natural hilly terrain of Marin County, demanding precision throughout, and was restored in 2004 by architect Mike DeVries. The demanding 18th hole, a downhill par 4 guarded by twin fairway bunkers, is considered one of the most challenging closing holes in California golf.
