Princess Anne Country Club is one of Virginia Beach's oldest private clubs, established in 1916 and anchored by an 18-hole course originally designed by William Flynn, the celebrated architect behind Shinnecock Hills. Stretching 6,854 yards with a slope rating of 135, the par-71 layout retains its classic Flynn-style bunkering through successive renovations, including a 1996 update by Tom Clark. The club has hosted Virginia State Golf Association championships and remains a defining institution in the Hampton Roads golf landscape.
