Ekwanok Country Club is one of the oldest private golf clubs in the United States, established in 1899 amid the scenic Green Mountains of Manchester, Vermont. The 18-hole course was designed by celebrated amateur champion and architect Walter J. Travis in collaboration with John Duncan Dunn, and hosted the U.S. Amateur Championship in 1914. The layout remains a well-preserved example of early American golf course design, noted for its strategic bunkering and undulating greens.
