About Broomsedge
Broomsedge Golf Club is a century-old private club in Rembert, South Carolina, founded in 1920 on terrain that shapes a par-72 championship layout stretching 6,700 yards. Originally designed by Samuel McClure and later refined by George Cobb in 1949 and the Arnold Palmer Design Company in 1988, the course is distinguished by its naturally preserved broomsedge grasses, strategic water and sand hazards, and a history that includes hosting the 1953 South Carolina State Amateur Championship.
