About Old Tabby Links on Spring Island
Old Tabby Links on Spring Island is a private 18-hole golf course set within the ecologically preserved Lowcountry landscape of Okatie, South Carolina. Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay in 1991 and fully restored by the Arnold Palmer Design Company in 2012, the course was built with minimal earth movement to protect ancient live oaks and native marshland. The club takes its name from the antebellum tabby ruins found on the property, lending Spring Island a rare sense of historical depth alongside its natural character.
