Designed by George Cobb, a prolific architect celebrated for his post-war work throughout the Carolinas, the par-72 course stretches 6,842 yards and carries a slope rating of 136. The layout was later refined by John LaFoy in 1995 and received a full Champion Bermuda greens renovation in 2016, with several holes offering coastal views along the South Carolina shoreline.
