About Florence Country Club
Florence Country Club is one of South Carolina's oldest private golf clubs, founded in 1924 in Florence, SC with an original design by Donald Ross. The course was later renovated by architect John LaFoy in 1994 and stretches to 6,802 yards with a slope rating of 133, featuring more than 50 sand bunkers and six water hazards. The club served as host of the 2018 South Carolina Amateur Championship, underscoring its standing in the state's golf community.
