Secession Golf Club is a golf-only private club situated on former plantation land along the Intracoastal Waterway in Beaufort, South Carolina. Designed by Bruce Devlin, the par-71 layout stretches to 7,000 yards and features a links-style character with open, windswept terrain, natural waste areas, and native grasses reminiscent of coastal Scotland. The club enforces a walking-only policy and draws its evocative name from South Carolina's historic role as the first state to secede from the Union.
