About The Aquidneck Club

The Aquidneck Club is a private 18-hole golf club in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, set on a coastal property overlooking Narragansett Bay on Aquidneck Island. Originally designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1923, the course features the strategic bunkering and natural elevation changes characteristic of his work, and was sensitively restored by architect Ron Forse in 2007. The club traces its roots to 1922, making it one of the more historically significant golf properties in New England.
