Sakonnet Golf Club is a historic private club founded in 1901 on the windswept coastline of Little Compton, Rhode Island. Donald Ross designed the 18-hole layout in 1922, incorporating his signature contoured greens and natural terrain to create a coastal course that rewards strategic play. A 2004 restoration by Ron Forse preserved the integrity of Ross's original design, making Sakonnet one of New England's most authentic examples of classic golf architecture.
