About Out Door Country Club
Out Door Country Club is a historic private golf club in York, Pennsylvania, founded in the early 1890s and one of the commonwealth's oldest golf institutions. The current 18-hole championship course was designed by William Gordon — a protégé of Donald Ross — following the club's relocation to Detwiler Drive in 1959, resulting in a classic parkland layout measuring 6,619 yards with a slope rating of 133. The club has hosted notable Pennsylvania Golf Association events, including the 1976 Pennsylvania Amateur Championship and the 2004 Pennsylvania Women's Amateur Championship.
