About West Chester Golf & Country Club
West Chester Golf & Country Club is a historic private club founded in the late 19th century in West Chester, Pennsylvania, serving as one of Chester County's earliest golf institutions. The 18-hole course was expanded and redesigned in 1924 by William Flynn, the celebrated Philadelphia-area architect also known for his work at Shinnecock Hills and Cherry Hills, featuring his signature strategic bunkering and naturally contoured greens. The club has hosted Philadelphia PGA Section events and remains a notable example of classic Flynn design in the greater Philadelphia region.
