About Sunriver Resort
Sunriver Resort is a landmark golf destination in Sunriver, Oregon, built on the grounds of the former World War II training facility Camp Abbot and developed into a world-class resort beginning in 1969. The property's crown jewel, the Crosswater Course designed by Bob Cupp in 1995, stretches 7,683 yards across 600 acres of wetlands where the Big Deschutes River crosses seven fairways, and hosted the Champions Tour's JELD-WEN Tradition major from 2001 to 2006. Alongside courses by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and John Fought, the resort holds Audubon International Signature Sanctuary certification, reflecting its commitment to preserving the high desert landscape of central Oregon.
