About The Kirtland Country Club
Kirtland Country Club is a historic private club founded in the early twentieth century on the rolling, ravine-carved terrain of Willoughby, Ohio. The 18-hole championship course was designed by noted English architect Charles Hugh Alison, representing one of his earliest American works and showcasing the naturalistic bunkering and strategic contours of Golden Age design. The club has hosted multiple USGA championships, including the 1996 U.S. Senior Amateur, and a 2007 restoration by Ron Forse preserved the integrity of Alison's original layout.
