About Moraine Country Club
Moraine Country Club is a historic private club founded in 1929 on the naturally rolling terrain of Dayton, Ohio, with an 18-hole championship course designed by Scottish golf professional Alex "Nipper" Campbell. The club holds a prominent place in golf history as the site of the 1945 PGA Championship, won by Byron Nelson during his legendary run of 11 consecutive tournament victories. A 2015-2016 restoration by Keith Foster returned the course to its golden age character, preserving Campbell's original push-up greens and classic bunkering.
