About Forsyth Country Club
Forsyth Country Club is a historic private golf club in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, founded in 1913 with the course opening for play in 1914. The original 18-hole layout was designed by Donald Ross, and a 2007 renovation by Kris Spence preserved the integrity of that classic design while modernizing the course to its current par-71, 6,641-yard configuration. The club has deep roots in Carolinas golf history, having hosted the Southern Conference Championship in 1942 and the Carolinas PGA Championship in 1959.
