Balsam Mountain Preserve is a private, gated mountain community and golf club founded in 2002 in Sylva, North Carolina, set amid the rugged landscapes of the southern Appalachians. The 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature Course, which opened in 2007, plays to a par 70 across roughly 350 acres of terrain defined by dramatic elevation changes, mountain vistas, and holes bordered by flowing creeks.
