Cobb, the prolific Southeast architect known for his work at Augusta National's Par 3 Course, and plays to a par 72 at 6,902 yards with a slope rating of 131. The club hosted the 1983 North Carolina Amateur Championship and underwent targeted green renovations by Clyde Johnston in 2000.
