About Hound Ears Club

Hound Ears Club is a private mountain retreat established in 1964 within the Blue Ridge Mountains near Boone, North Carolina. The 18-hole course was designed by George W. Cobb, the architect behind Augusta National's celebrated Par-3 course, and features bold elevation changes, rolling fairways, and a scenic waterfall on the 15th hole. A 1999 restoration by Kris Spence preserved the layout's integrity, and the course carries a slope rating of 145, reflecting the demanding nature of its mountain terrain.
