About Onondaga Golf & Country Club
Onondaga Golf & Country Club is one of central New York's oldest private clubs, established in the late 19th century in Fayetteville, NY, just outside Syracuse. The 18-hole course was redesigned in 1916 by Walter Travis, whose signature green complexes and strategic use of natural elevation changes define the layout to this day. The club has hosted multiple New York State Amateur Championships, cementing its place as one of the region's most historically significant golf facilities.
