The 18-hole layout, measuring 7,125 yards with a course rating of 75.1, has hosted major championships including the 1978 U.S. Amateur, the 1987 U.S. Women's Open, and multiple PGA Tour Barclays Championships. Gil Hanse completed faithful restorations of the original Ross bunkering and greens complexes in 2000 and 2010, preserving the course's classic architectural character alongside a landmark Tudor-style clubhouse dating to 1929.
